Ballantyne has great accessibility to fantastic locations - whether you want something an urban, rural, or historic vibe.
Here are some of my favorites:
- Ballantyne's Cullman Park - If you are in Ballantyne, why not opt for something right in your neighborhood? This park offers a natural manicured backdrop with: azaleas (in season), waterfall, willow-lined pond. All beautifully landscaped.
- Downtown Waxhaw - lots of historic charm. The footbridge, alleyways, the water tower. So many great spots!
- Marvin-Efird Park - Charming barn, rustic fields, pretty lake all make for beautiful back drops
- The Union Exchange - offers several large lawn areas with trees and a pond. Farm equipment and small barns offer a rustic vibe. The front port of the farm store is great, too!
- Lake Park's Fred Kirby Park - not too manicured, and not too rural. When you want something in between, this is a great spot. The pretty central gazebo makes a great backdrop - as does the lush green park.
- Downtown Monroe - boasts so many great spots! Just to name a few: alleyways - between buildings all around town, steps of the historic, courthouse, along the colonnade of First Baptist, crossing Main Street (Beetles' Abbey Road style), and LOADS more!
- Wesley Chapel's Dogwood Park -Small easy to access park (bring your dog for the dog park!) There are several perfect spots here that make for pretty family portraits.
