The Fountain family contacted me about having a family session.  Their eldest daughter was leaving for college in the fall (and a study abroad for 6 weeks the summer prior!) and they wanted to make sure to get some family portraits done before she headed off.  Smart move - those college kids are hard to pin down!  

Man they go off to college or start their careers - and things change!  It's a good change and it's what we work for as parents...but it is definitely bittersweet.  I'm about to launch my 3rd...and as proud of her as I am, it is still hard.

And - you thought getting family portraits done while they were in high school was hard... college or career makes it even harder.  Use the next couple months before they launch to schedule those family photos!  You won't regret it!
